Gold prices in Pakistan Today

Gold and silver prices rose in global and local markets after a one-day pause. In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $24 to reach $4,018.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), in the local market, the price of gold per tola also increased by Rs2,400 to reach Rs424,236. The price of gold per 10 grams rose by Rs2,057 to reach Rs363,713.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs41 to reach Rs6,070. The price of silver per 10 grams also rose by Rs36 to reach Rs5,204.

On Friday, gold prices in Pakistan eased, tracking the drop in global rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs3,600 to settle at Rs421,836. The rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs3,086, reaching Rs361,656, according to the APGJSA.

Silver prices also slipped, losing Rs126 to Rs6,029 per tola. Internationally, gold prices decreased by $36 to $3,994 per ounce.

On Thursday, according to the APGJSA, the gold price per tola reached Rs425,436 after a gain of Rs400. Meanwhile, the price of silver decreased by Rs126 to reach Rs6,029 per tola.

On Wednesday, gold prices in Pakistan posted gains, although marginal, bucking the softer trend in international markets, where the precious metal trimmed losses following an unexpected drop in US producer prices.

According to the APGJSA, the price of gold per tola rose Rs900 to reach Rs425,036. Similarly, the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs364,399 after an increase of Rs771.
