Three employees of the Balochistan Excise and Taxation Department were reportedly kidnapped along with two official vehicles and service arms after unidentified gunmen blockaded a key section of the main highway in Chaghai district, police officials said.
The incident took place near the Dhadar area along the Dalbandin-Taftan route, where an armed squad had set up a makeshift roadblock. Initial reports suggested that the gunmen ambushed a temporary security post maintained by the revenue department, disarmed the duty staff, and took three personnel with them.
Later, contingents from the local police and law enforcement agencies reached the area to secure the scene.
