KARACHI:
Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan Saqib Sadaqat has said bilateral trade between Pakistan and Bangladesh has recently increased by 20 per cent to reach $1 billion, adding that further growth is possible for the benefit of both countries.
Addressing a session organised by the Karachi Council on Foreign Relations (KCFR) on Sunday in honour of a 12-member Bangladeshi delegation of civil servants, he said improved air and sea links were expanding opportunities for two-way trade.
He noted that direct flights and shipping connectivity had significantly enhanced commercial prospects.
