SSP operations says investigation into cause of death is underway, situation will become clear after forensic

A lawyer was found dead inside his car at the Judicial Complex in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, with police and forensic experts collecting evidence from the scene to determine the cause of death.
The deceased was identified as Advocate Sanaullah Satti. Police said his body was found on the driver’s seat of a car parked outside the Lawyers Club at the Judicial Complex, a highly sensitive area falling within the jurisdiction of the Civil Lines police station.
According to police, the lawyer’s face and eyes appeared swollen, while blood stains were also found on his face and clothing. However, authorities said it could not immediately be determined whether he had died as a result of violence or another cause.
Police cordoned off the area after receiving information about the body and called in forensic experts. Evidence was collected from the vehicle and surrounding area before the body was taken to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Initial investigations showed that the vehicle in which the body was found had entered the Judicial Complex through its main entrance on Tuesday morning and had not left the premises afterwards.

Police have also taken CCTV footage from the Judicial Complex into custody as part of the investigation.
Rawalpindi SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob visited the scene and later told the media that preliminary findings suggested the lawyer had driven the vehicle into the Judicial Complex himself.
He further said police and forensic experts were working separately to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
“We are also collecting CCTV footage and other evidence, while an investigation is under way to determine the cause of death,” Mehboob added.
He stated that further details would become clear once the investigation and forensic examination were completed, adding that any significant developments would be shared with the media.
