CM vows holistic development



Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that development and improvement of every city and village was the government's mission, adding that she was pleased that Pakpattan, which had remained neglected for years, was now moving towards development.

She added during a meeting with members of the provincial assembly from Pakpattan, including Farooq Ahmed Maneka, Javed Ahmed, Imran Akram and Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar that she was monitoring development projects in every area and working day and night to transform Punjab into the best province.

According to an official statement, matters relating to public issues and needs were discussed during the meeting.

The MPAs presented proposals regarding urban and rural development in Pakpattan and thanked the CM for launching electric buses and initiating development projects in the district.

They termed the electric bus a "game changer project" and expressed gratitude to the CM and her team for beautification of Pakpattan city. They also thanked the chief minister for establishing a Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence in Arifwala.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed the MPAs to keep a close watch on the quality, pace and transparency of ongoing development projects in Pakpattan.

She said development and prosperity of every city and village was the government's foremost objective.
