15-20 armed men allegedly scaled boundary wall, forcibly took possession of the property
RAWALPINDI:
A citizen has accused PML-N lawmaker Zia Ullah Shah of allegedly occupying a property in Rawalpindi, submitting a complaint during an open court session held by the CPO.
According to the complaint filed by Ayaz Khan, he purchased a one-kanal property in the Syedpur Scheme from its previous owners, obtained the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), and began construction after securing approval of the building plan.
He said that caretakers, including one Mudassar, were residing at the under-construction house when 15 to 20 armed men allegedly scaled the boundary wall, entered the premises, threatened the watchmen and forcibly took possession of the property.
The complainant alleged that when he arrived at the scene after informing Rescue 15, the armed men pointed weapons at him and prevented him from entering the house.
Speaking to The Express Tribune, Zia Ullah Shah rejected the allegations as fabricated.
